The Scenic River Classic is back for 2026. Originally begun as the "Bridge to Braves Fun Run" back in 1988 as a fundraiser for DWI, it continues today.as the oldest running race in Idaho Falls. The race includes a 5K, a 10K and a Half Marathon, which all begin and finish at Snake River Landing. Anyone from DWI who would like to run, use the discount code of "dwi2026" for a 50% off registration. The Idaho Council on Developmental Disabilities is currently seeking public input for their 5 Year Plan. The Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000 requires the Council to specify 5 Year goals for advocacy, capacity building and systemic change. We need your input!

DWI Foundation's Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday August 14 at Sand Creek Golf Course. If anyone would like to participate and forma a team, check the webpage at www.dwinc.org/golf-tournament/

We will also need volunteers on the day of the tournament.

This event is a fundraiser that also bring brand awareness to the business community and the community at large. Help spread the word.
